About Shalom Village

Shalom Village is more than a nonprofit—it is a place of restoration, hope, and new beginnings.
Founded in faith and built from lived experience, Shalom Village was created to support women and families navigating difficult seasons of life. We understand firsthand what it means to face
hardship, uncertainty, and the weight of responsibility—because our foundation was born from it.
The word Shalom means peace, wholeness, and completeness—and that is the vision we carry: to help individuals move from crisis to stability, from struggle to strength, and from isolation to community.

✨ Our Mission

Our mission is to provide support, resources, and advocacy for women and families in need. We are committed to helping individuals rebuild their lives with dignity, stability, and hope.

🌱 What We Do
Shalom Village provides practical support and guidance to women and families facing financial
hardship and life instability.
We focus on meeting immediate needs while helping individuals take steps toward long-term stability and independence.
Our current areas of support include:

  • Emergency Support for individuals and families facing urgent financial hardship

  • Resource Navigation to connect clients with housing, employment, and community services

  • Transportation Assistance to help individuals access work, school, and essential appointments

  • Mentorship and Guidance to support personal growth and stability

  • Faith-Based Encouragement to uplift and strengthen individuals spiritually and emotionally

As we continue to grow, we are expanding our services to reach more families and deepen our impact within the community.

🌍 Our Vision
We envision a future where every woman and family—regardless of their circumstances—has access to the support, resources, and community they need to thrive.
A future where:

  • No mother feels alone in her struggles

  • No family is left without support in times of crisis

  • Every individual has the opportunity to rebuild, restore, and move forward with confidence

  • Shalom Village is not just about meeting needs—it’s about changing lives.

✝️ Our Foundation
Shalom Village is rooted in faith, guided by compassion, and driven by a commitment to serve others with love, dignity, and integrity.

Meet the Founder

Shalom Village was born from both lived experience and a calling to serve. As a mother and social worker. I understand what it means to navigate difficult seasons while still carrying the responsibility of caring for a family and building a better future.

My experiences with hardship, instability, and rebuilding gave me a deeper understanding of the gaps that often exist between available resources, and the practical support people actually need. My professional work in behavioral health has strengthened that understanding and reinforced my belief that meaningful support must address the whole person and the whole family.

I founded Shalom Village to help create the kind of support system I believe every person deserves—one rooted in compassion, dignity, practical assistance, and freedom from judgment.

My faith remains at the heart of this work. I believe difficult seasons can produce purpose, and that service requires more than recognizing a need—it requires being willing to respond.

My vision is for Shalom Village to become a trusted community where individuals and families can receive the support, they need to regain stability, rebuild, and move forward.

No one should have to rebuild alone.
